Lewisham '77

This year sees the 30th anniversary of an event that was extremely important for South East London and for the story of race and policing in the UK as a whole: the "Battle of Lewisham" during which thousands of militant anti-fascists and local people fought sought to stop the fascist National Front from marching from New Cross to Lewisham.
