The problem, of course, when they say such things is that there are resources like MEMRI that will translate them into English. When I see things like this, I immediately dismiss almost everything else the speaker has to say about anything. I'm sure he's a very smart man; you dont get to be the head of a theology department being dumb, but being smart and being serious are two different things and when I know they believe things like this I stop taking them seriously.
